The starting point for the creation of the design concept was the long-standing dream of the owners to live not just in a new house, but a house with a history. A beautiful stylization on a given topic is the work of Yaroslav and Elena Aldoshin from the Aldo & Aldo bureau.

The house is located in Krasnodar, in an elite area. The owners — successful entrepreneurs and energetic middle—aged people — live together, but often host their children, grandchildren, relatives and friends. «The owners prefer to listen to good music on vinyl, they like to gather in a noisy company in the office of the head of the family,» says Yaroslav Aldoshin. — The hostess plays the drums, and their group even gave a chamber concert «for their own» right in the living room after the delivery of the object. The main wish of the customers was to create a house with a history, with the feeling that more than one generation of the family lived here.»

The living room area is decorated with two chandeliers with plafonds in several tiers, since the ceiling height is more than eight meters; built-in lamps are installed along the perimeter of the ceiling, giving soft diffused light. Functionally, the owners outlined a number of important tasks: it was necessary to create a closed greenhouse terrace where you can relax from the hustle and bustle of the city, and transform into an open veranda in the warm season; equip the kitchen combined with the living room so that there is a place for relaxation space by the fireplace in the living room; design a tiled stove for cooking which would create a special atmosphere in the interior; it was also necessary to analyze the optimal routes of movement of the household, take into account the requirements for private areas and design them as comfortably as possible, taking into account the rhythm and lifestyle of each family member.

«Since we were designing from the very beginning (even before the construction of structures), we created the layout from scratch,» says Yaroslav. — Taking into account all the wishes of customers, we have developed a planning solution that meets the requirements of the entire family. So there was no need to demolish or move the walls, as is often the case in a finished house.»

The owners treat the issue of storage very carefully and carefully. Therefore, the authors organized a separate room with an area of 30 sq. m in the basement. m for seasonal items, as well as a laundry room with storage systems and equipment for the care of clothes. At the entrance there is a large wardrobe for outerwear and shoes. On the ground floor, under the stairs, a large space was laid for cleaning equipment. In addition, each living room has an impressive wardrobe and other storage systems.

Long before the construction, the hostess received as a gift charming flowerpots of the XVIII century — we can say that everything began with them. The rest of the items for the future interior designers were looking all over Europe (together with customers Elena and Yaroslav traveled several countries in search of the right things), brought something from trips, bought some of the furniture from a Parisian antique dealer.

«We have been carefully selecting pieces of furniture for several months,» says Elena Aldoshina. — Customers are very fond of items with history, and most of the vintage ones were brought from France. We wanted to add an oriental flavor (chinoiserie elements were very popular in European classical interiors), so we visited China and brought some authentic things from there. Many items that the owners collected over the years, «moved» to a new one from their old house,»like, for example, a large collection of porcelain.»

The color palette is made mainly in light shades with the addition of bright accents. In the front part of the house, the palette was set by a sample of fabric for curtains, from which the rest of the colors «went». In other rooms, the starting points were vintage pieces of furniture and carpets bought at antique markets. At the same time, the designers left the walls neutral so that over time it would be possible to change the mood by changing textiles or furniture upholstery. The terrace is more like a small garden, which has set a calm gray-brown scale. Only one room is radically different from the others — the wine cellar. There is a chamber atmosphere and rich natural shades: green, terracotta, wood.

Yaroslav and Elena worked in a team with the architect who designed the house itself. According to the designers, such cooperation (where everything is coordinated and everyone complements each other) is very important. This allows you to create whole, harmonious projects. Talking about the style of the interior, Elena notes that it was set and predetermined by the architect of the house and, of course, the message of the customers. Meanwhile, it is quite difficult to clearly define the style direction, because the designers created a portrait of the inhabitants of the house with their character, and the interior turned out to be personalized and very personal.
