1. Minimalism: white hallway

Perfectly minimalistic spaces devoid of any decoration are becoming more and more relevant. An example is the hallway in the photo below. There are no cornices, the door is smooth, recessed flush into the wall, the walls are painted with white paint. The usual hallway accessories — hooks for clothes — are visually hidden on a completely empty wall (and so it turns out), and the shoe shelves are so thin that they seem to «tend to zero». In general, it turned out to be a solid, seasoned space.

2. Softminimalism

But still, «soft minimalism» is more in demand so far. With all the kinship, the two styles differ: softminimalism is more emotional, and «gets» warmth with the help of natural materials, for example, wood, genuine leather, textiles. Rounded shapes add comfort.

Another example is when the laconic style of the hallway is compensated by the richness of materials, in this case, metallized mosaic in the form of honeycombs and, again, wood.

3. Modern classics

Modern classics with a neoclassical base, art Deco elements and modern art, it seems, will forever remain one of the most sought-after elegant styles. In the example below — walls painted with light paint, the principle of symmetry in the breakdown of walls with moldings and the arrangement of furniture. All this makes the style, among other things, understandable and cozy. An entrance hall in this style declares the status of the interior from the threshold.

4. In pastel shades

Pastel shades are in fashion, and among the most fashionable are pastel powder shades. And now it is not only a solution for private rooms and living rooms: in this interior, the designer and the owners decided to make the hallway pale pink, and added the necessary rigidity (for balance) by hanging geometric lamps.

5. Dark background, pastel accents

This is one of the most spectacular trends of our time, and it is certainly not for everyone. The authors of the projects below have supplemented the complex, rich, ambiguous color of the walls with pastel accents — pink in the upholstery of the pouf and silver-white lamps resembling dandelions. Alternatively, there could be bright accents, for example, scarlet, orange, lemon colors: such accents on a dark background are also very relevant.

6. In the spirit of Mix&Match

«Mix and match» is another complex style, the art of «at your fingertips». Everything depends on the art of the designer/decorator here. Often the interior grows out of one object, a piece of wallpaper, from a carpet ornament. The method of matching one to the other can give a stunning result, where incongruous, at first glance, patterns and shades will be combined, as in this hallway.
