1. Swimming pool at home in Sochi

Architect Elena Paunich: «This house in Sochi was designed taking into account the difficult terrain of the mountainous terrain. Its shape looks simple, but at the same time the structure cascades down to the road, and the pool plays an important role in its appearance. The pool bowl is located in front of the main facade with panoramic windows. They offer an incredible view of the pool itself and the boundless sea surface, which looks like its continuation.»

2. Swimming pool as part of the spa complex

The author of the project, architect Natalia Klimova: «This work is the realization of the American dream of the customer. After returning to Russia, he wanted to build a house in the style of Frank Lloyd Wright, where in addition to spacious living spaces there would be a spa complex with a swimming pool. Its interior managed to convey the mood of the southern islands — Seychelles, Maldives and Bali. The pool reminds of the warm sea and the beach. The room is equipped with a home cinema with a pull—out screen — for watching movies and sports matches»

3. Swimming pool and pavilion with sauna

WHITEHOUSE Studio designed the interior of a country house in Yerevan, having also decorated the adjacent plot, where a swimming pool and a recreation pavilion with an equipped sauna were located. The modern and laconic style emphasized the location of the house on the edge of the gorge with a beautiful panorama of the mountains and the city. The overflow design of the pool bowl looks advantageous, which eliminates the sides and allows the water surface to be at the same level with the surface of the recreation area and the horizon line.

4. Swimming pool on the top floor of the house

The authors of the project, architect Daria Kolesova and designer Anastasia Tukaeva, designed a mansion on Rublevo-Uspenskoe Highway, placing a spa area and a swimming pool on the third, top floor of the building. This original solution made it possible to create a special architectural image of the house with a light upper tier due to panoramic glazing. The house itself is made in the style of modern Art Deco, and in the spa area the emphasis is on natural motifs — a forest landscape outside the windows and larch wood trim. Next to the pool there is a bar area where you can quench your thirst after a workout or organize a party.

5. Chalet-style complex with swimming pool

In this project, a new version of a wooden house with a spa complex was created, combining the style of an Alpine chalet and a traditional Russian house, reinterpreted in a modern way. To make the pool seem deep, the darkest finish was chosen for the design of its bowl.

6. Swimming pool surrounded by a southern forest

The author of the project, designer Asya Zadikyan: «For this house in Sochi, a concise architectural solution was chosen that fit well into the forest landscape. It was in the direction of the picturesque forest that the main premises of the house were oriented, as well as a recreation area with a swimming pool. The hillside is terraced, and the retaining walls are finished with dark-colored granite with a blue-gray tone. It goes well with the wooden trim of the sides of the pool and terrace and with evergreen vegetation.»

7. Minimalistic swimming pool

The ZA BOR architectural workshop has designed an unusual country house in the Moscow region. Its architecture with broken shapes and complex volumes set the interior style. The interior space looks expressive due to the geometry and finishing with natural materials. The pool, located on the ground floor, is complemented by a small lounge area with sun loungers.
